This is the line for the ones who were.

The cloth. Organic ring-spun cotton, milled in Europe — the old country, where the Norse were from and where the sagas were written. Certified organic, grown without the chemistry, spun into one continuous strand the way strong thread has always been made. Heavyweight. Sueded. Cut clean and cut to last.

The palette is short. Stones, clays, muted earths, and the deep quiet colors. That is not a limitation — that is what cloth does when you don't force it. Organic fiber and low-impact dye give you the range a Norse dyer had: woad, madder, weld, lichen, and the greys of undyed wool. Fewer choices. Every one of them a color a Viking could have made.

Thread only. No print. No sublimation. Nothing that sits on top of the cloth. The mark is stitched — worked in, small, over the heart, and it will still be there when the garment is old. A runic mark down the cuff for the ones who look twice.

And nothing else. In the hall, no man announces himself. He was seated, or he wasn't. The ones who belong recognize each other without a word, and everyone else just sees a good black hoodie.
