Óðinn gave an eye at Mímir's well for wisdom and hung nine nights on the windswept tree, pierced by his own spear, to seize the runes. Huginn and Muninn — thought and memory — fly the worlds each day and return to his shoulders with all they have seen. This is the god of poetry, war, and hard-won knowledge, rendered in the old script and the old marks.
The runes read Óðinn in Younger Futhark, Long Branch — spelled by sound the way the standard was actually cut. Worn on the sleeve, the master mark of Woven into Wyrd.
Printed on garment-dyed heavyweight ring-spun cotton. Every shirt runs its own dye lot, so no two weather exactly alike — the same way no dye vat ever gave the same color twice.
